Internal Sales Specialist Level II Heavy Equipment

Job Overview

The Internal Sales Specialist is responsible for managing the wholesale activities of Heavy equipment and collaborating with district sales managers and regional sales directors. The Internal Sales Specialist receives the machine order, allocates to the available stock, creates work orders to the production department and analyzes sales opportunities. This position also responds to calls and emails from dealers to accommodate wholesale related requests concerning availability of Heavy machinery and attachments. This position also coordinates the logistics to ship the machines in a timely manner to make sure we meet the monthly sales target.

Role & Responsibility

Sales Coordination

1. Responsible for monthly wholesales target

- Coordinate multiple moving pieces to meet monthly wholesales target

- Machine / Attachment order and allocation

- Customize the machine thru the work order process

- Backorder management to achieve WHS target every month

- Resolve any issue for WHS transaction and dealer-to-dealer transaction

- Data analysis to support sales team to move machines out

- Directly work with dealer principle to push machines out to hit the month end target by collaborating with DMs

2. Invoicing

- Dealer invoicing including line items (Freight, Pick-up, Attachment, Installation, etc.)

- Manual invoicing for national account wholesale

- Issue credit Wholesale Coordination

3. Month End Close

 - Co-working with Finance group to close the month

Sales Policy & Process

1. Company asset management

- Rerental unit management and invoicing

- Consignment machine management

- Inventory reconciliation

2. Policy and Process Management

- Consignment policy and process

- Re-rent policy and process

3. Dealer Master

- Dealer master management in SAP and Passport

 - Support other department's request regarding dealer account

Other Strategic Operation Support

1. Initiative Support

- Build up the process to support company strategic initiatives

2. Customer Service

- Any questions regarding product, sales, attachment, accounting, marketing, etc. to support dealer channel.

- Sales support for sales transaction to record additional units within a month

- Build up a positive relationship with dealers and outside sales

3. People Development

- Build up own training program and continue to train internal employees in internal sales team, given that industry/product is difficult to understand

4. Order Management

- Use Microsoft office to analysis order monitoring progress or sales/order history

 - Find the additional sales opportunities by analyzing current backorders and inventory availability

Job Requirement

Excellent communication skills required

Coordinate dealer s requirement to capture sales opportunity

Decent knowledge on product and spec. (Training will be provided)

Process innovation

Transparent invoicing operation

SAP or equivalent level of ERP system experience (Preferred)

Above average computer skill set is preferred (Excel skillset is required)

Multi-tasking oriented person

Fast learning to understand product updates and complicated machinery terms

  Good understanding on policy and process

Bachelor s Degree preferred 

Base Salary: $55,000 Plus STI 5%

* Emphasize product features based on analyses of customers' needs and on technical knowledge of product capabilities and limitations.

* Answer customers' questions about products, prices, availability, or credit terms.
